1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Pro Hunt mobile application or website ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Pro Hunt provides a platform connecting hunters with South African lodges, service providers, and fellow community members. Pro Hunt acts purely as an intermediary software service and is not a booking agent, safari outfitter, or security provider. We are not liable for any agreements, contracts, or injuries sustained as a result of using third parties found on the App.
3. Marketplace & Firearm Policies
All users utilizing the Marketplace feature agree to strictly comply with the South African Firearms Control Act (Act 60 of 2000). Pro Hunt strictly prohibits the sale of illegal firearms, unlicensed ammunition, or poached animal products. Any suspected illegal activity will be immediately reported to the South African Police Service (SAPS).
4. Panic Button Liability
The Panic Button feature is provided on a best-effort basis. While we partner with leading emergency responders, Pro Hunt makes no absolute guarantees regarding cellular signal, response times, or medical outcomes in remote locations. The user assumes all inherent risks of entering the African bushveld.
Privacy Policy
In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.
1. Data Collection
We collect information you provide directly to us (such as registering an account), as well as real-time location data ONLY when the App is in use tracking your movements on a map, or crucially, when the Panic Button is activated.
2. Data Usage
Your data is used to provide the App's core services: connecting you with lodges, maintaining community safety, matching marketplace interests, and ensuring rapid emergency response. Your personal phone number and exact address are NEVER published publicly on the platform.
3. Third-Party Sharing
During an emergency (Panic Button use), your critical data and live GPS coordinates are securely shared with our national emergency control room and the dispatched responders. We do not sell your personal data to third-party marketing agencies.
